Symbolism of a canary and blue wildflowers?
I have been meditating the past two nights and have been able to reach a guide who has talked with me and stuff. I have only seen her once before in a dream I had two years ago, a dream I ahd during a hard time.
On the first night of meditation, she drew a picture of a yellow canary bird, and last night (the second night) she picked these blue wildflowers and gave them to me.
What is the symbolism behind these objects of hers?
BTW, this isn’t so much about whether or not spirit guides/guardian angels are real, it’s about the symbolism. Just a reminder for some of you.
I included the part about the guide so that you would understand better rather than sitting here thinking “where did the canary drawing and the flowers come from?”. Simple as that.
canaryUsually interpreted as a happy symbol. Connected with freedom and intellect. It’s old use as a barometer for air quality in the mines still gives it connotations of testing and self-sacrifice. If depicted in a cage it symbolises entrapment, prisoners and sometimes unhappiness. I have also seen a flying canary (yellow bird) used to represent sexual ecstasy.
The Blue Flower (German: Blaue Blume) is a central symbol of Romanticism. It stands for desire, love, and the metaphysical striving for the infinite and unreachable.
