Do You Want Wild Birds To Die?

Well I don’t and that’s why I bought wild bird seed and a feeder.
As well as a birdhouse already made.
out of pine wood I think.
well my question is What can I do to attract them to the house?
or will they just do it on their own?.
I put both the house and the feeder up in a tree about 7 feet above the ground in my back yard where I usually see them.
any advice?
any ideas on a bird bath or nifty craft that would benefit them?
I live in California and the weather is not hot but kind of on the cool side after that thunderstorm a couple days ago.
thanks =]

Just put the feeders out and wait. You might want to see what types of birds you see in your yard and then get food appropriate to that bird. For example..if you see hummingbirds, put up a hummingbird feeder (you get them in California year round), or if you have hummingbirds or jays, put up a suet feeder. Many birds are already done nesting this season..so the bird houses may not get used this year but birds may use them next year. You MIGHT have some late nesters that may still use them however..so leave them up. Also, I would highly suggest you do NOT put the feeders close to the nest boxes as this can attract predators to the nests that might eat the eggs or chicks. Best to keep them on opposite sides of the yard.
