Cooked Bird Seed Question?
Hi, I have been given a huge quantity of catering cake mix which is past its “use by date”. Knowing that cake is a suitable addition to my wild bird feeding, I was planning to bake bird cakes by adding seed to the mix. Anyone any idea if it will work and secondly, will the seeds still be OK for the birds after cooking?
I don’t know if it will work putting it into cake mix but I have made bird seed bells( mixing beaten egg white and honey with bird seed) which needed to be cooked and the birds loved them so you can cook the seed.
