How do I work the mirror mate for my budgie?
Today i got the mirror mate recordable bird training mirror from petsmart
This is the mirror that teaches a bird how to talk
How do I work it?
And how comes when I move my hand in front of the mirror it doesnt playback my recording
Its turned on and everything
No offense, but you just threw your money down the drain. I have two parakeets (budgies) and I got the blue-purple Mirror Mate too, and it was cheap and it didn’t work. Nothing mechanical will teach your budgie to talk. only YOU can, with a lot of patience, you may be able too. I’ve taught my little tweeters to whistle a few tunes. It won’t ever work, or it may work, but your budgie won’t learn anything from it. They best thing you can get is a mirror from Pet Co or Pet Smart, or any other good pet shops. They like to look at themselves, thinking it’s another bird, and they ‘talk’ to it. That’s how I taught one of the tunes.
