What is the name of this anime?

I remember watching this anime with three characters, a girl, a guy named Akito (Akido?), and a rabbit/bat hybrid called Babbit (I think). The plot was something about a popular girl at school who’s also an actor. Her mother also had a bird nest or something on her head. Does anyone know the name of this show?
