MY BUDGIES ATE PART OF A PLASTIC BOWL!!!!!!!?
I have 2 budgies,1 male and one with a questionable pink and blue marbled nose.I put in a plastic bowl for a bird bath and 1/10 of the bowl is missing. Some of it is on the floor of the cage and I think some of it’s in their stomachs.I can’t take them to the vet anytime soon, but i want to know what i can do to help until i can.I feel so bad.I’ve had them for about a month, and researched and asked about budgies/parakeets since the beginning of my summer break. Now it was all done in vain.please please help.
well, first, ask yourself questions: (if they have:)
• Consistently very fluffed
• Discoloration/discharge present on
feathers above nostrils
• Lethargy
• Vomiting
• Inability to balance
• Stains or accumulated poop on vent
feathers
• Crustiness on or around eyes,
beak, feet/legs
if they have anything similar to any of these maybe they did eat part of the bowl and sure to be sick. if not, then probably they will survive till you get to bring them to the vet.. hope this helped ,good luck
