What do you do when your pet dies?
Burial? – (yard or cemetery?) Cremation & urn?
Give the vet permission to dispose of the body?
(ETC)
I’m not just talking about just cats and dogs – what about your birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, reptiles, amphibians, rabbits, horses, etc?
I know this could be a touchy subject for most people, but I’m just curious.
Twisted Trojan, fail much?
Amilea♥, I’d like to throw you in a field.
Lots of love, SRSLY!
And thank you to those that answered me sincerely.
puppy_lover99, it looks like you missed the question, your answer was seriously stupid.
Well… It depends on what kind of animal.
I live on a little rural farm, so I have cows, sleep, dogs, barn cats, etc.
Cows= We used to bury them in the woods behind out house, but now we just move them to a quiet, undisturbed place and bury them with hay.
Same with sheep.
Barn cats= We usually cremate them… We don’t keep the ashes (As I’ve always found that a tad disturbing, no offense to anyone), but we usually say a word or so and cremate them.
Dogs= We usually bury them in our butterfly garden, marking their grave with a large stone with their name painted on it. Same with any “special” cats.
Rabbit= BunBun, my love and life, is still under one and living life’s every nook and cranny… but when he passes, I expect to bury him in my backyard (as I should be old enough to have my own place by than)…. maybe cremate him. I’m still not sure. Like I said, though, BunBun is still under one year old. I have many, many years to think about it.
