is my pet cockatiel okay?

I’ve been watching my aunt’s 13 yr old cockatiel bird for a few months while she’s been away. Today I came home & changed the paper towel on the bottom of the cage & gave her new food, she was fine. Suddenly, she fell into her food dish & didn’t seem to know what was happening. I picked her up & tried to make her get on my finger, which she did, but didn’t seem to have any coordination. She kept falling asleep. She would come to for a few seconds where she flew to the top of her cage, but couldn’t seem to find her balance to land. She couldn’t keep her eyes open for a few minutes. Its been about 30 min & she seems to be getting her coordination back. Please help me in figuring out what’s going on with her. She is very loved by my Aunt & I don’t want anything to happen to her.

If their an avian vet near where you lived, take her in there. If there no avian vet, take her into a animal vet or animal hospital clinic. We cannot help you because we are not experts and she cannot physically see the bird.
