Are there any types of cool parrot types of birds that could live in cold winters?
i live in Michigan and have always wanted to build an outdoor aviary to put some birds in but figured there was no point since theres more cold winters here the warm summer and the birds would have to be indoors and stuff but ive herd from a friend that there are some types of birds that could do really well in cold Michigan winter conditions as long as they have there food and water does anyone recommend an types of birds i could put in my aviary ? thanks (sorry i know this is dog section but am not getting many replys any were else)
Parrots come from tropical areas, so they are not able to survive cold weather. Outdoor aviaries are kind of risky anyway because the birds are vulnerable to predators.
