home made cages for breeding cockatiels, quakers, conures?
I want to make my own cages for an indoor hobby aviary. breeding tiels, quakers, conures, and possibly caiques. What kind of wire can I use that is non toxic for the birds?
zawny2004: I posed a question in order to get it answered. Your response is not an answer and therefore doesn’t belong on this thread. for that you have been reported. I’m sorry. But, it is quite annoying to receive answers like yours. Also, please remember that cockatiels are not dogs or cats. They are a domesticated bird that originated from Australlia. Just in case you were unaware aus. has banned the export of these beautiful birds. So, the only tiels that you will find in the us have been bred. If people refrain from breeding we will no longer have the pleasure of owning these affectionate fun loving birds.
I use 1″ x 1″ 16g galvanised mesh for all cages for this size of birds.
