Are the Baby birds okay?
i noticed i had a bird nest and i went to go see if there were eggs and i took a picture and there were! so everyday i went to go see if they hatched and one day i noticed they did. So i took a video cause i coudnt see into the nest and when i watched it i noticed they werent moving, and i went back the day after that and they still looked to be in the same position. Do they move when they are little? Or did the mom stop coming back to the nest because she noticed i was always there? hellppp meeee!
You may have driven the parents away because you kept threatening the nest. Birds view humans as predators, and will abandon a nest if they think you are a threat.
You shouldn’t be bothering nesting birds…at all. If you can’t take the pictures from a safe distance, don’t take them at all. It’s not worth the life of a bird just so you can get a picture.
Please don’t “do” anything. No more close-up pictures. Stay away from the nest and hope that the hen returns.
Consider this a lesson. Wild animals need to be allowed to raise their young in peace. The last thing they need is interference from humans.
