your thoughts??

I have my heart set on a black capped lory and a yellow bibbed lory. However there are no breeders in my area, even my friend that I get my birds from can’t even get some locally.

I found some birds in Florida but they will have to be shipped…I am not sure about that, one I don’t know if the birds are socailzed or healthy. Also it is an added cost…that can go to toys and a better cage.

I am not sure what to do.

I am in New Orleans.

Personally, I don’t like buying anything alive (animals) from a place that I can’t visit and see the animal first. It’s your choice, but it would a risk. Check pet stores to see if they can order them and such.
