bird harness: Feather tether vs. Aviator Harness?

In your opinion, which is better and safer for the bird? I have an african grey.

The Feather Tether Bird Harness is not recommended for very small birds such as Budgies, Lovebirds or Parrotlets. However, an African Grey is larger, so it shouldn’t be a problem. Then again, the Aviator Harness is considered to be safer and less escape-proof. The AH is definitely better for small birds, and still arguably better for the larger ones too.
