what could i decorate my victorian room with?!?!?!?

actually it’ll be more of a mix of vintage/victorian/old fashioned. weird i know but what could i put in it. like a want a little bird cage (any ideas where i can find a small decorative birdcage?vintage looking one) and how can i decorate it? one of my walls is green and yellow (thick stripes) it’s a very pale yellow and not really green. it’s really nice. and the other walls are te pale yellow color.what could i decorate my room with?

The walls are a great start, I’d be going for big flowy curtains with very thick tie backs that suit the wall colour, a few small rugs on the floor (if they are wooden floor boards?) a wrought iron bed will suit really well, and other than ebay there is this site http://www.birdcages.com/ which has many many styles of cages. Grab some small side tables (not matching) from flea markets and paint them pale colours, and of course candlestick holders in white, glass, crystal or silver look fab. And even with the stripped walls use some floral material, either as bedding, cushions or maybe on a lovely chair? Crystal knobs look fab too on dressers or wardrobes and a chandelier too. Old flea market pitchers, jugs etc are great for vases, and you should be able to find some really pretty dressing table accessories there too. Lastly don’t forget some nice framed prints on the walls, scenery, flowers, naturalist sketches or even old (really old) black and white period portraits would look nice.
