They will sleep inside it and would sometimes poop in it too. Check daily for losen strings as it may chock your bird or injure it. Take note: If you get those for your birds, 50% of the time Birds will get lazy.

You can hang those on top of your bed( not recommend as if it falls to your bed, you may squash it)
You can also hang those in it’s cage if it’s big enough. (Recommended)
