What do you think of this song?
Love? Hate? Indifference?
Somewhere in between?
Eric’s Trip is named after the Sonic Youth song of the same name, but sound very little like Sonic Youth’s early 90s output. Taking a lo-fi approach to their music, with some field recordings – they seem to have more in common with Sebadoh and Dinosaur Jr. than the band that gave them their name.
If you could hold this song in your hand, it feels like it would be a little bird. Sitting there calmly, then suddenly wild, beating its wings. Lively and strong. And yet, try to grasp it too tightly, and you’d crush it.
Song 91 in a series.

Nice bird analogy. I liked it-not too intense, but a good tune. Thanks for sharing.
