3 or 4 eggs but we were afraid it might die so we moved 2 cockatiel eggs to to the other birds nest later somne eggs disappered but after a few days a chick hatch thats color yellow by the way the afr4ican love bird is yellow and then cockatiels are white and yelloow and i am not sure who it belongs to and the afreican love bird lives alone as in no male bird but it layed an egg so long story short I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THE CHICK HOW TO TAKE CARE OR WHAT TO FEED IT PLEASE REPLY ASAP THANKS
You should have left the eggs alone. Different species rarely successfully raise chicks of other species. If you have no male lovebird and had the female for longer than about a month before she laid then all the chicks belong to the Tiel. If there is no male then the lovebird eggs were all infertile. Don’t move the chicks in the lovebird nest back to the tiels they will likely reject them and it may cause them to reject the chicks they already have. Get the chicks in the lovebirds nest to an experienced hand feeder that is willing to take them. If you try hand feeding not knowing what you are doing you will kill the chicks. Go to the pet store and get the cockatiels some egg food and mix it according to package directions. It will need to be replace several times a day.
