Birds owners……….!?

I have a cockatiel that is less than a year old and he has learned to make all kinds of new whistling sounds and chirps, but when will he reach the point were he will try to speak?

If he is copying noises, then words will be next. Choose what you repeat to him, like every morning
say “Hey, baby” when you uncover the cage or choose your own greeting. We called ours by name
so that now they say their name. Funny when the dog comes in the room, they all call her by their
name!
He will talk pretty soon, say good night when you put him away, and other chatter through the
day, they live a long time if you take care of them and are good company constantly curious!
