Does any one know of some good crafts i can do at home to make time go by quicker?

I’m a home maker and i’m bored to death! Does any body know of some good crafts that i can do at home that won’t take up too much space and money? I really like woodsey stuff (like bears, moose, fish, pinecones, etc) and i’m expecting my first baby in August. I also enjoy yard decor stuff (windchimes, benches,bird feeders, etc) Your help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Oh yeah! Did i mention i’ve tried to crochet and i stink terribly bad at it?! lol

Buy a few blocks of colorful polymer clay ( readily available at all craft store and on line) and try your hand at sculpting. Find an instruction book that will show you how to make simple canes ( tubes and sheets of different color clay put together to make a long narrow design and then sliced into multiple identical pieces to decorate a variety of objects) and how to use them on everyday household objects to make your home unique and colorful. Once you start, your probably will be hooked and you will be surprised how quickly time passes. It is not a messy of expensive hobby to start…you don’t need a kiln because the clay bakes in your home oven….just take precautions addressed in most instruction books to protect your oven so it can be used for food.
