i caught a mouse, now what?

there was a mouse in my bird seed box, i think its a baby cos it is really small, i dont know if i should let it go or keep it, if i keep it will it die because its used to the wild? i have it in a big plastic container like a storage one and put some food/water in there and a blanket. so can i keep it or not?

Don’t kill it – it hasn’t done anything wrong so it doesn’t deserve to die. You should release it back into the wild.
