How loud are sugar gliders?
Hey everyone!
I’ve been researching sugar gliders for a really long time now, and would love to get a pair this summer. My only reservation is that I live in an apartment, and while we’re allowed to have pets here, we’re not sapose to have loud pets (dogs, birds, ect) because they don’t want the noise to be problems for the neighbors. I know that sugar gliders make varous noises, I have heard wav files of what the noises sound like online – but that really doesn’t tell me how loud they are. Could anyone give me an idea of how loud they are? Maybe try to compare it to something I would be able to relate too? I don’t care at all if they make noise – I’m just wondering if they’re so loud that they would annoy other people in the building.
Thanks!
They are not that loud I would say maybe a kittens cry. But sence you live in an apartment it is not a good idea to get them… I know they are adorable but they are misrible in small cages. You need to have a 6ft tall, 6ft long and 2ft wide cage to keep these things happy (which is a huge cage espesually for an apartment). This is because they need to beable to glide and jump long distances in order to be happy, because this is what they do in the wild. They are also very high maitnece when it comes to cleaning their cages, its a big cage…
