Would I be considered a nerd if I had a Guinea Pig or bird when I am in highschool?
I want to get a guinea pig or a bird, but my mom said I would be considered uncool if I am in highschool and own either one…is this true?

No way, I’m 19 and have owned birds. It is is no way uncool…It just shows you’re a good person who enjoys animals and are responsible enough to own one. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just too lazy to do so, or don’t have that passion towards animals. I think owning an animal really matures you. As long as your heart is in the right place and YOU don’t think it’s uncool, don’t let others deter you from it.
