not sure on the sex of my lovebird?

i was never given the sex of my bird but assumed it was a male because when he had a partner he always tried to mate the other
but all of his/her life he/she has reguritated food onto eveything toys,mirror, tried on my hand
anyone have any idea what it could be lol?

usualy birds are picked out for gender by the color of there feathers.if hes really bright colored or pretty, then hes the male, because males are prettier so they can attract a female, thus if the bird is dull and kinda ugly, then its a girl. but most lovebirds all look the same. so idk, bring him back to where u bought him from and then they should be able to tell u. or bring him to the vets or something to ask
