birds migration routes?
hello,
i live in israel in the northern negev desert, where usually hugh flock’s of birds(stork ,crane) arraive each year and pass us twoard africa, i know that israel is a main land bridge to africa , and its pretty logical that the flock’s from europ choose to fly from this route mainly because of the mediternian sea, that blocks the way of most central europ, but there is two more routes that i find on the map :
from italy to malta and to north africa, seems like a good route for birds.
and from spain to moroco via gibraltar crossing, seems like the better option of the two…
so , can someone help me ?
do the big migrating birds fly from these routes too?
and if soo, which of the three(or 4 maybe??!) is the buissiest ?
thanx in advance!
