Can blackbirds eat flies?

out of curiousity,
can they eat..
starberrys?
flies?
spiders?
ino their diet contains insects and worms, as well as feeding on berries and fruit.
But this has too follow the life cycle of the birds, each stage and what they eat, miss said that i need to define WHAT they eat, like straw berrys, flies, or spiders.
im at the fledgling stage of the birds, so i need to know what they eat, and does the mum re-gurgitate the food fir them at this stage?

I have not observed blackbirds but I have watched robins fledge their young. At this stage the mother gives them samples of all the food they should eat. It is not necessary for her to regurgitate the food. I watched one mother with 3 young robins and she would first get a strawberry and give it to one young, the get one for the next and so on. When all three had each had a strawberry she would go to something else for them to eat. This included worms in the compost pile, flies around the compost pile and cherries. I suspect black birds have similar food tastes. I did not see them catch and eat spiders but I know they do. You may want to disable a spider and feed it to your fledgling blackbirds.
