BIRD HARNESS WOES PLEASE HELP!!?
ok i have just bought the feather tether harness for my cockateil and i have tightened it to the extent that i can just put the plastic clip together but she keeps gettingh er foot caught in the front stap wha should i do?? to tighten or no to tighten??
by the way she is a flighted bird :S
The harness should fit like a glove- not too tight, not too loose. Our birds do not like the harnesses, but if you plan to take flighted birds outside, they are necessary. Perhaps taking it to a quality avian vet for specific directions will help. But, please, heed the wrnings, that their ribcages are very fragile.
