Any idea HOW to figure out the genus and species of birds?
I’ve searched day and night (er, not really,), and I still can’t find anything about that! The website’s a pain because it never gives me the information that I need. It always talks about off topic things. If you know a book that lists the birds and its species and genus, please, tell me! Or a website- that would be great. Thanks guys!
Scientific name of birds( or say any living things) comprise of genus and species. The first name is genus and second name is species, this is how we determine genus and species of birds.for example,
Common Loon, its scientific name is Gavia immer
Here,Gavia is genus and immer is species.Generally when we write genus and species we have to underline those scientific names.
