Can I do this at the petstore?

I just bought two rats. I want to return them and everything I bought. I know some things I probably cant return but here is what I bought, everything has been out of the package.

Both Petco and Petsmart have a satisfaction guarantee on all their products. You can return everything to the store with the receipt and should be able to get a cash refund – you’ll need to provide a reason why you’re returning this stuff though – and that will be where your problem lies.

You don’t just go out on a whim, buy 2 rodents and all their accessories and run back to the store the next day to return them without a good reason – and I hope you can have a clear conscience after you do this.

The rats can be returned as well, but you might end up with store credit – or store credit for your entire purchase on things that were opened/removed from the packaging, or used.

As the other person said – why?

I’ll add one more question – why did you get timothy hay for rats?

As also was suggested – you could donate the supplies to a local shelter or rescue.
