squirrel relocation program?
the local squirrels keep emptying my bird feeders and i am starting to feel like bill murray in caddyshack. i really can’t spend $50-100 on a sqirrel-proof feeder. i just like to watch the cute little birds outside my window in the morning- used to be relaxing, but now it’s just aggravating. the furry little things don’t even move when i beat on the window. Any home-remedies?
stop feeding the birds is an answer?! wow.
“If you feed birds, they become dependent, raise too many young, upset the balance, and when you go away, they starve.” really? show the documentation to support this please.
Get some plastic sewer pipe, about 4″ diameter. Surround your feeder pole with it and spray once in a while with Armor-All to keep it slippery.
Also keep the feeder away from branches or any other jumping off points.
