I need an idea for a stencil/graphic for above my bed.?

I’m redoing my bedroom and I’d like to paint something on the wall above my bed since I don’t have a headboard. My room has structural columns on either side of the bed so it creates a natural frame.I’m just not sure what to do. My duvet cover is white with large black stylized lilies and my curtains are deep purple. Other accent colors in the room are turquoise and I’m thinking of adding a deep rich goldy yellow. The walls are being painted soon, and I’m leaning towards a purple tone but it can’t be to dark because it’s an apartment and needs to be reasonably easy to paint over when I move. My first instinct is to do some sort of bird but I’m not sure. Ideas?

You could use the lotus design on your duvelet and make gold/white/turquiose blooms on stalks rise at different levels from the bottom of your wall to above your bedding. Your original idea sounded nice, you could add birds, and butterflies that stretch out to other walls in mid-flight, turning your bedroom into your own purple forest.

Your theme of nature, also gave me another idea, you could instead stencil a tree design before adding birds and other creatures to it, possibly more flowers, and dragonflies of differing sizes.

There are some lovely shades of purple out there, I suggest Victoria or Lavender.
