What bird should I get?

I have a cockatiel, and it lives in a different cage (same size though) to my budgie that died very recently. I want another bird. I am thinking about getting a Chinese painted quail, but my family doesn’t like them, so maybe another budgie. But I don’t think there will ever be a budgie the same as poor Boo (I think she died of a heart attack, she was healthy when she died). What bird should I get? And a care sheet for Chinese painted quail would be great, thanks. Sob. I can’t help thinking about my budgie. I cried for ages when my dad told me about her, and I made a gravestone for her today. R.I.P. Boo.
