How do you get rid of unwanted cats from backyard?

I feed the birds out back, and at least everyday i chase about 5 cats from my neighorhood . We also have foxes and skunks that comes around at night i live in a rular area. I have alot of trees around our house.

My mom used mothballs, they don’t smell great, but it kept the cats away.
