Raising a baby canary?

The pet store I work at ended up with a baby canary, and it can not be kept on the floor so I am going to be taking it home to give it the care it needs. I have a lot of experiance with birds, but no experiance with hand feeding or raising them. Any tips on caring for a 2 day old baby canary?
I will be getting bird formula and a eye dropper, and I am sure the bottle will tell me how much and when.

Handfeeding formula is what it needs. It must be a specific temperature; too hot and it will burn the baby, too cold and it will cause crop stasis, either of which can kill it. It should be fed once per hour during the day, and not at all at night (gives the crop a chance to empty). All utensils need to be sterilized between feedings, as the bird is susceptible to yeast and bacterial infections.
I really don’t recommend doing this yourself, you could easily torture the poor thing to death with your inexperience.
